1993
Birth of the 1st Alba upper factory in Albania
AlbaShoes Group was born in Lac, Albania, and focused exclusively on the production of uppers.
A few years later, the upper factory intensified its activity so much that it became a point of reference for internationally renowned companies and favored the opening of new production sectors in Tirana, Valona and Corovode.
Foresight, dedication and resourcefulness, as well as continuous investments in new technologies and machines, have made it possible to implement new production processes up to the creation of the complete cycle of footwear, especially safety ones.

While the company was establishing itself among the most important economic realities of Albania, in 2006, it was decided to set up in Italy, in the footwear district of Barletta-Andria-Trani, the company Alba & n.

After an initial specialization in private labels, through collaboration with prestigious world brands, a vast and varied range of products was also born with the company-owned brands Alba & n and XQT, brands synonymous with style, quality and comfort.
Today
Alba Shoes Group has customers all over the world and currently exports to more than 45 countries. Alba & n represents the bridgehead company for the European and world market, which concentrates the Group's Research and Development department as well as the commercial and logistic management. The latest corporate investments concern the further expansion of the Lac factory and the installation of a PU injection system for the on-site production of insoles

Attention to safety
All the footwear produced by the Group are certified in accordance with the EN ISO 20345: 2011 and 20347: 2012 standards by the bodies responsible for this purpose. However, thanks to the laboratories present in the Alba factories, equipped with the most modern equipment, the Group's technicians are able to check the safety of footwear and their components on site by carrying out the same tests that are performed by the Accredited Laboratories for Certification. of PPE.

Our Group is certified according to the ISO 9001: 2015 standard by TÜV AUSTRIA. Our constant interest in Research and Development, in technological innovation and in the search for the best materials on the market are the key factors of our success and make our products unique in terms of reliability, comfort and aesthetics.

Aware of the growing and urgent environmental problems, especially those related to waste disposal, the Alba & n designers have just developed a line of footwear with uppers coming from the recycling of post-consumer PET bottles. At the same time, research continues for eco-sustainable materials and accessories, 100% recycled and recyclable.
